REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
JUSTICE COURT PROSECUTOR
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Crawford will accept proposals from attorneys to serve as the Town’s prosecutor in Justice Court proceedings. The prosecutor will be responsible for cases involving Vehicle and Traffic tickets issued by State troopers, dog cases, and cases involving enforcement by the Town’s code enforcement officer/building inspector, such as zoning and building code enforcement cases. Typically, a Justice Court prosecutor is needed not more than once per month, usually on the third Tuesday of the month. Each proposal submitted must include the attorney’s and if the attorney is affiliated with a law firm, the law firm’s general legal experience, municipal law experience and Justice Court experience; and a fee proposal. The Town of Crawford Town Board will consider all relevant factors in evaluating and making this appointment. Written proposals must be submitted to the Town Clerk’s office, Town Hall, 121 State Route 302, Pine Bush, New York 12566, or by email townclerk@townofcrawford.org on or before 11:00 AM on December 18, 2019.
