TOWN OF CRAWFORD ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE 121 Route 302 Pine Bush, NY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Crawford will hold a public hearing on the application for an area variance for the setback distance from the front property line in order to comply with town code for an in-home dog kennel at the property located at 130 Crans Road, designated as 27-1-31.21 on the Tax Map of the Town of Crawford in the “RA” Zoning District, owned by Steve and Eileen Nixon. The Pine Bush Seniors
All 55+ people are welcome to become members of the Pine Bush Seniors! Meetings are held on Tuesdays at the Town of Crawford Community Center, Rt 302, Pine Bush, NY 12566. Doors open at 11:00 starting with social time before a short business meeting at 12:15. At each regular meeting we hold a 50/50 raffle. Occasionally, we invite speakers to come discuss programs that are of general interest to seniors. After the business meeting, members who want to stay for Bingo are welcome. Bingo cards are $1 each. No meeting is held if the Pine Bush Schools are closed or have a 2-hour delay due to inclement weather. To join, you must attend three meetings at no cost to you. After that, the dues are $2 for the meeting. Once you hit 90 years of age, there are no dues! Coffee, tea and snacks are provided at no charge, though we occasionally offer deeply discounted lunches, such as the corned beef sandwiches for Chinese New Year Celebration, St. Patrick’s Day, the the August barbecue. During the year, we are offering bus trips to the dinner theater at Hunterdon Hills to see Matilda, Wind Creek Casino and Outlet Malls, and Villa Roma’s Octoberfest, which offers a hearty luncheon and a show. In addition, we will go to a local restaurant for the Installation of Officers luncheon. New calendars generally come out in January. Officers for the club are elected in May. Our current president is Kay Phillips with Elizabeth Kondelka as Vice-president. Our Treasurer is Betty Moorhouse and the Secretary is Tom Dunn.
